What do you think about SMW Dro,L.O. freq 10.6 GHz,Gain 54 dB? It has been used to for a cable network.Worth to try it and with what results?
Of course that is a lnb professional whose noise factor is 0.9 dB,but I put the question, more rhetoric(or not?)if a IBU commercial is better than this?
Thanks
lnb SMW DRO?

Okay, my answer (not rhetoric), I don´t know...
PS: But you need a useful feed for this one.

I bought the original OMT. With this it works much better than with the intermediate ring. The OMT is optimally adapted.

ThanksI do have and tested the WDL 0.8 dB type E , performed better than my best IBU single and equal to my Invacom SNF 031 .
All with a Raven feedhorn at a 1.8m ChannelMaster
To save weight at my lnb revolver , I 'm using the SNF 031 . -
Hi Trust,
Thank you for your answer to object. You gave me all the reasons to try to use it for tests.Actually you confirmed what know only those who have worked with such lnb professional, and that is that a noise factor of 0.9 dB and gain of 54 dB is better and safer than a commercial one, let's say,0.2 dB and gain of 60 dB!
Perhaps(?) the only incovenient found at this type of lnb is that we have used two coaxial cables for each polarity. How you have used it? Did you use two receivers or one with two tuners In?Or is it an external switch through which change polarity if you use a receiver with a single tuner In?
And one more thing, how did you get the two lnbs from the housing?I tried but I failed because I didn't want to push hard because I was afraid that it breaks the housing.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards -
Sorry for the very late answer .
Did'nt look here since that time , also did not get a notification .
Because is was a test to compare , I just used the proper output for corresponding channels .
To use all ports , a multiswitch is the easy way . -
