    I used the 6903x card with IQmonitor_2407 at 15.0W. I was able to lock the signal and get FeedReport on 11013 V with StreamReader version 109. Does not work with versions older than 101. I only got a lock on one transponder. But for what I/you wanted to achieve, I think it's enough. The High Spectra scan took a long time.

  • I tried again to lock the second transponder,11037 V.107140,3/4 at 15.0W, with IQmonitor 2407. This time, I partially correctly succeeded in getting the spectrum, but also a FeedReport.

  • I used the 6903x card with IQmonitor_2407 at 15.0W

    good to see the first feed-report for higher SR Transponder than 67500 :76:

    I think it is better to use Streamreader 1.2.4.100 with IQmonitor 2407 , Because the device name would not appear in feed-report with newer streamreader ,also to see devices list on this version of IQmonitor 2407


    hopeful that one day Strannik:70: and Crazycat:70: make Blindscan's sofwares works with higher SR Transponder than 67500 ( for example up to 180000 at least for TBS6903X) who knows ; may be one day we could see transponders with high SR like that !


    I hope if Strannik make an Independent version of IQmonitor -only as a test version- which works with Blindscan2 only for montage-cards like TBS6902se,TBS6904se,TBS5930 ,I know he can do it ; but he doesn't have time I think :70::74:


    @ 15°W with my 1.80m signal increase only with 2.4dB :37: (comparing with my little dish 0.90m)

    no signal for these high SR Transponders here :75:

  • strannik said he depends on Crazycat's file (StreamReader) for his app. But CrazyCat has foreseen the possibility that some demodulators can display professional parameters, as the 6903x card has. It was helped by the stid135 demodulator of this card, which on the previous page, at #1874, you posted the parameters from the card specification. For example, at 8PSK, this demodulator knows 120 Msymb/s, and both transponders are in turbo-8PSK mode and use a high symbol rate, in the range up to 120. Therefore, because they use the same StreamReader file, both Crazyscan and IQmonitor manage to display this symbol rate.

    Actually, you wish Blindscan can lock a high symbol rate fulfilled by both applications. So it is not up to these applications to display these parameters, but to the demodulators of the dvb cards, i.e. if they have support for such parameters. Fortunately, the demod stid135 from STM has this support. Have not yet checked the 6909X card. But I don't expect other dvb cards to know how to lock such a high symbol rate.

    You are right that Strannik should implement this function,BLscan2. It is not by chance that I posted EBSpro, because Christian, when he built his app years ago, realized that Blscan2 is just as important as blscan. Even if he neglected his application, it is able to handle all the cards that have appeared afterwards.

    Here are the specifications of the 6903x and 6909X cards. Differences seem to matter not much, but we have to keep that in mind.

    I think there is a big chance to make IQmonitor works with these TBS_montage cards :73:



    Any way I restart TBS5927 again and it works perfectly :73: (I only need to calibrate my RF_spetrum )

  • A 5927 USB scan with IQmonitor 1013 only on a polarity at 1.0W. As expected, no difference between this device and the 6983 card. Same search and lock time, and about the same results obtained.

    Leider hast du mir deine Einstellungen verheimlicht. Im Wesentlichen sieht es gleich aus, wobei zwischen 11000 H und 11200 H bei dir die Transponder besser ankommen.

    Im Scan ist alles automatisch gefunden worden, ein paar Transponder gingen noch manuell.

  • I have been working with the IQ monitor almost since the beginning of its development. I haven't found a difference in scanning sensitivity in recent versions. The improvements are only in the extension of the signal analysis capabilities.

    The author Yuri would be able to clarify the practical differences in scanning in the latest versions.

    I think the DX-ers needs maximum sensitivity and range of parameters to look for new transponders. :426:

  • IQmonitor 1013 scanning Astra 19.2E with 6590 card in 7 minutes. With 9 MHz steps, I got the fastest scan time with a s2x card with this app.
