  • I tried the 6590 card with version 1.0.3.0, but unfortunately, it crashed after a while.

    I changed the search steps from 10000 to 50000 for a faster search at 19.2E. Even with this setting, the search took almost four hours. It is true that it worked ticked s2x. At least I was rewarded with a successful spectrum with a card I didn't really use with IQmonitor.

    So it also works with cards that are not too friendly with specific parameters.

    All attempts to save transponders failed. I don't know how to fix this.

  • Die TBS5927, zur STV091X Familie gehörend, zeigt ein zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis.

    Der Gesamtpegel ist etwas niedriger, ich weiß aber nicht ob dies nur nur die einzelne Tunerkarte betrifft, oder die ganze Serie.

  • Man kann zwar die Farben des Scans ändern, allerdings werden diese nicht in der ini gespeichert.


    Bei einem (meinem) Dualband-LNB wird das Band über die Spannung geschaltet. Im speziellen Fall K-Sub-B 13V und K-Sub-C 18V

    Nun sehen die Spektren im Sub-B-band alle blau und im Sub-C-Band alle rot aus. Das irritiert die Betrachter.


    Ich weiß nicht wie groß der Aufwand ist, diese Werte in die ini zu integrieren (bei fehlenden Eintrag wird default gesetzt),

    aber eine durchaus brauchbare Opion, zumal es auch spannungsgesteuerte LNBs im Ku-Band gibt.

    With a (my) dual-band LNB, the band is switched via the voltage. In the special case K-Sub-B 13V and K-Sub-C 18V

    Now the spectra in the Sub-B band all look blue and in the Sub-C band all look red. This irritates the viewer.


    I don't know how big the effort is to integrate these values into the ini (default is set if there is no entry),

    but a very useful option, especially since there are also voltage-controlled LNBs in the Ku band.

    I hope that I have set up IQmonitor version 1030 for the 6903x card, as you asked, so that the result is conclusive from your point of view for what you want to know.

    If needed, I will do more tests with the 1030 version.

  • Show C/N ist bei mir immer abgeschaltet, weil es mich ein wenig stört.

    Dass es bei dir funktionierte hat war rein zufällig.

    Manchmal läßt es sich beheben, wenn man diverse Einstellungen nachdem das Programm geladen ist nochmals vornimmt.

    Aber auch hier habe ich keine Systematik gefunden.

    It is proved that the internal local oscillator of the STV 6110 tuner operates in the range of 250 - 2500 MHz (on the example of the OMICOM card)



    IQmonitor 2047 scans the range 10940 - 12750 MHz in 10 seconds, and the usual blind search with a step of 3 MHz for 46 transponders performs in 121 seconds:



    CrazyScan does the same thing in 19+401=420sec (3.2 times slower. In addition, transponder frequencies are determined with an accuracy of 1 MHz, symbol rates are determined approximately and are generally underestimated. The signal strength in the transponder signature (determined by blind search ) differs by 5-6dBm from the signal strength according to the RFScan graph ...




    Blind Scan 2, which is not supported by all cards, (together with scanning) takes 85 seconds and finds the same 46 transponders with the same errors

  • I carefully repeated the same test on the 30W satellite. As you said, the RF minlevel options are set to -50dB. Field TBS-6983 is marked. I see that some users don't do that, I always turn on the calibration option before plotting the spectrum and the spectrum always looks fantastically accurate.

    dIe Lite Version (mit gleiche Parameter :dF 100 für beide) ist in dierse Fall deutlich schneller (522 Sekunden / 802 Sekunden)

    and the IQMonitor 1028 ( streamreader 1.2.4.148)

    The Lite version (with the same parameters :dF 100 for both) is significantly faster in this case (522 seconds / 802 seconds).
