TBS6909X DVB-S2X & ACM/VCM

    tbs6909x DVB-S2X/S2 & ACM/VCM
    I am confused about this "TBS6909xChangeModeTool" ..I guess to change between S2/S2X!
    I think before that silabs demods can not handle DVB-S2X & ACM at the same time ?!
    if that is true so tbs6909x it will not be able to ACM & DVB-S2X at the same time ! but separately
    so you have to change always the mode and compare between two result of blindscan
    any way I don' know ..we can wait until some one try it :73:

    I thought the tool like : tbs5521_changemode_tool

    may be whe can understand how TBS6909xChangeModeTool works if we look also to Lnb max-sx8 connection mode

    I think, I still wait for a professionell X-version.

    If you don't specify the antenna size and the approximate location, posting is useless if it's about signal acquisition.

  • Thank you, flie,but I have to admit it's not my merit.There's still work on this card.It's not really that easy for programmers to solve such a complex card.
    I do not know that such a 256APSK mode has been used.Until it goes to this mode,as the song says,it's a long, long way to...Tipperary

    Is there Generic stream mode Support? And does it manage to capture continuously BB Frames.

  • CrazyCat recommended Dektec DTA-2137C for BBFrame some long time ago, now DTA 2132 it is probably suitable for DVB-S2X

    DigitalDevice recommends for BBFrame MAX SX8

    I'm about to buy PCIe card and I hesitate between TBS-6903-X and 6909-X V2, because both have the same chip STiD135.


    So I want to get some information by someone who has tested 6909-X V2 to capture BBFrames.


    I think I will choose TBS-6903-X as there is a bit more information about her Generic stream support.

  • The Digital Devices Max SX8 Pro also has the STID135 chip and I fear the same problems with the software.

    The company is not sure whether it works with Crazyscan, for example, and obviously nothing was known about the IQMonitor.
