Just a try with the chinese extended Ku (thanks to moonbase, click for satellites.co.uk forum) on this range, using CrazyScan Version 1.02.149 and TBS 6903.
That's a big image response

Was that with the WR75 LNB or the 40mm LNB?

Hi,
it was with the WR75 LNB.
Not tested the 40mm (plastic) LNB yet.
Hallo
Diesmal mit einem modifizierten LNB ; 25MHz Quarz gegen einen 24MHz ausgetauscht
This time with a modified LNB; 25MHz crystal exchanged for a 24MHz
ATM I found 8trps active at the same time, probably all allocated for subband(?).
10492 H,1500,4/5,S2-A71A,
10493 H,1000,5/6,S2-1 IZ1VWE,
10494 H,1000,2/3-?
10495 H,333,2/3,S2-DL3HQD,
10496 H,333,4/5,S2-IKHYU,
10497 H,333,3/4,S2-F6GDL,
10498 H,333,3/5,S2-f5nvp,
10499 H,333,1/2,S2-ON5AFB.
added also:10495 H,500,5/6,S2-IZ1 HXI.
Again many transponders active at the same time atm
Very impressive, s-band, finding SR 71.
Very impressive, s-band, finding SR 71.
I think it was probably SR = 66 but it did not stay up for long enough to lock. I have no doubt it would have locked but it needs a fair bit of tweaking and a few re-scans to get the lower SRs. That is one problem with the software, the first guess is usually a bit off.
Tests with a Chinese lnb for 10.0-107GHz with the tbs6983,tbs6903X cards and DM920UHD.
Besides the fact that it's being worked carelessly, the lnb still needs to be calibrated. To bring it the desired frequency,I had to set the local oscillator at 8992 MHz and not at 9000 MHz,as recommended by the BWEI manufacturer. If I set it at 9GHz then the frequencies would pass 10500 MHz.
Just another look on these ones - after 1,75 years, using 2.2m and Inverto single flange on CrazyScan Version 1.0.2.146.
