That is no lock.

Indeed,it's not true lock! And it shouldn't have been taken for granted.But it was important to me that it was the first time I saw a signal on 6A.

As you know, where Crazyscan fails to lock a signal,many of us resort to IQmonitor to check it out and yet hopefully we will really lock it when the conditions are more favorable.The important thing is the first step...

However,those who read us do it not only to look for the performance that one or the other obtains here, but also to see what signal is received on each area,but also with what technical means.Probably those who read me will take into account,say,my antenna of only 150cm,and in no case put me in the category of the one with antennas over 2m or 3,4m.

In this regard I have no illusions,but I must admit that in the absence of a large antenna,if you want,professional one,I use these applications,I call them in this case,"crutch",in which case I compensate what I cannot get with my antenna.That doesn't mean I want to fool someone,especially an observer like you.

In fact,everyone on this forum does this with their own methods,even if they have large antennas,either with lnbs control devices or other tools/applications.But regardless of the methods and means we use,the result obtained is important.

The rest are technicalities,which of course are worth discussing at any time.And thanks for giving me the opportunity to make these clarifications that don't mislead anyone,as it seems to be this transponder displayed with IQmonitor.

I agree with Kypros_Pambou that milan58 should continue to post here.We are not too big a community in Europe to disperse into small islands.

And if we are to be honest with ourselves,then I dare say that those who have joined this forum have come because in their country they no longer have any fellow hobbyists to share their hobby with.Activity on most forums in their home country is more or less non-existent,only rarely a feedback or a topic of interest to a dxer.

Gone are the days when many of the users wanted to learn and then share their experience as an enthusiast.Most of those who write on the forum now are rather interested in TV programs, but even this topic seems to be of less interest, now that iptv and netflix are more handy than searching with antenna news on satellites.

These few,that is,us,have still kept in their hearts the passion to search for new and impossible things in remote areas,and if they have the patience and the necessary tools,they, dexrs, meet more on the beams of Asia, Africa,Middle East,etc rather than in Europe.

For these hard-earned things in exotic lands are more valuable than what's closer to your area,Europa in our case.It's like in life,after all.It works the same psychological mechanism in dxer as in any human field.

I would bet that everyone in this community has the same motivation and determination.And to succeed, it is worth every investment of material resources, experience and psychology we have.Why waste them?
