    "11075" V 1500 2/3 DVB-S (no signal at my place on 11575 V (=11075+500MHz) from position 30.9°E).

Still the same - but now it´s clear, it must be 11575 V from position 30.9°E, according content... (oops forgot, this one was already active some days before...) :77:

FYI: Merged my posing above in this toppic.

I think these are new frequencies on the 30.9E

According content, I think "11503 V" (-500MHz) and "11536 V" (-500MHz) are from Arabsat-6A, even when you catch those from Türkast 5A position, same as "11075 V" (+500MHz) in my report above.

PS: I can lock 11036 V from 30.5°E position - 11002 V has gone at scan time. Both are reported here. :3:

    Hi satesco,

    thank you for your scan.

I would say that "11089" and "11129" are from Arabsat (+500MHz) -> frequencies: 11590 V and 11630 V, both using SR 27500 - even when you locked them from position 30.9°E. I and others have the same experience here.

Same: "11502" with "Tele Liban" feed is from Arabsat (-500MHz) in my opinion (your post above) -> frequency: 11002 V 2500.

    Best regards

  • Both tps ( 11089 & 11129 Ver ) come from 30.9E ( MENA Beam probably ) with very low signal.
11089 Ver comes with null package and i can't lock 11129 Ver

I want to say at the outset that I do not want to argue with anyone here or elsewhere, so about the tests at 30.9E for Turksat 5A. I thought I would ask rather than draw conclusions. Maybe you know more about the subject and so we can get an idea if what we are receiving now at this position is from the Turkish satellite or not? Here's my opinion.

I have to say that the signal from Arabsat 6A at 30.5E does not really get into my area with my 1.50m antenna, only occasionally I receive a feed, but even this with a weak signal. At one time, when Turksat 5A became operational at 30.9E,I was surprised to be able to catch some transponders from Arabsat 6A due to some misunderstandings at the uplink between the two satellite operators who have the two satellites positioned just a few tenths of a degree apart.

It seems that following these disagreements, Arabsat has reduced its activity on those transponders that have TV programmes, such as LBC Int, LBCI AM, etc, and if we look at the list of these transponders, we see that it will gradually stop using this part of the Ku band. Instead, since Turksat appeared as a backup satellite for other positions, even for 42.0E, we see how they have activated in recent months transponders with symbol rates of 27500 or 30000 Ks, which seem to be used more for tv program packages than for feeds. Even these two transponders at 11075 V and 11129 V seem to be intended for such transmissions.

On this occasion again the same question was asked, are these from Arabsat 6A or Turksat 5A? Mostly I think that even in this case it is the same as other transponders I found between 11400-11700 H/V which were from Arabsat 6A.I don't know what to think, but I wonder, why Arabsat would test high symbol rate on transponders when this satellite at 30. 5E is not used for TV packages, but only feeds or SCPC? And on the other hand, we forget that Turksat 5A has several beams on different geographical areas. Who knows, maybe these tests will be a first step to move the Turkish packages from 7.0E.It's a hypothesis to consider if we try to understand why Turkey is increasing its fleet of satellites to more positions. And transponders with high symbol rates are actually tests in this sense.

I don't know if it is an extra argument or just a coincidence that Lyngsat places the two transponders (11090 V and 11130 V) at Turksat 5A.FlySat is still undecided and is waiting to see what happens even if it receives reports from several contributors, which it doesn't list as Turksat 5A.

We have to admit that we are in the speculation area as long as the Turkish operator is still in the testing phase. But his offensive of promoting Turksat 5A will continue just like it did with Turksat 4B at 50.0E,which eventually transmits many data transponders, and sometimes feeds.

    Regards to all :3:

A little attention attracted me to 10954 V.

After I searched for some transponders manually and some time passed, this transponder was shifted 2 MHz down to 10952 MHz.

I think, it's came from the Invacom LNB.
