  • I open this thread because Eutelsat Quantum has long passed the testing phase, when it was in "the Testposition section".

    The transponders found by marval450 and stephan94 are still valid, 12370 V and 12372 V, which I confirm now.

    I visited this position now, but I did not find 12105 H,1000,1/2 in my area.

    Now also above 12.5 GHz there are 5 peaks, unlockable for me.

    I thought Quantum didn't have that band, but there is not another satellite nearby.

    The strong one at 12530H has a strange constellation, probably not DVB-S.

    Hard to unravel what is going on here, is it DVB-S or something else?

    Entering Strannik's Freq. and SR parameters on Dr.HD F16 often gives high dB readings (up to 17 dB), but never a lock.

    With TBS-5927 and CrazyScan, manual entry (no blindscan) crashes CrazyScan.

    You opened an object for me to study low-speed transponders, which have a very high signal quality, SNR ~ 17dB, noise at the level of 0.7dB. This allows you to see and study the delicate internal structure of the transponder.

    Signal modulation is BPSK, which is defined in BlindScan as QPSK.


    The difference is that the two varieties of BPSK form a cross-shaped constellation during synchronization, which precedes signal capture (lock), and QPSK, during synchronization, which precedes signal capture (lock), form a circular constellation.

    DVB-S2 signal demodulators "do not see" BPSK signals :39:

    I can not say anything - there is little information :25:

    However, the small (32) error number indicates that this is a common I/O system error, possibly due to an invalid character in the file or directory name.

    Unfortunately this "error32" prevented me from

    to memorize the table of all the frequencies found.

    After more than 4500 seconds for the spectrum, it's a real shame.
