    Eutelsat's Hot Bird 13F and Hot Bird 13G satellites will begin commercial service at 13° East in two phases. The first will take place at the end of May 2023 , and the second is expected at the end of July 2023 .

    ergibt sich eine Verschiebung von 1° in 61,45 Stunden bzw. 0,39°/24h.

    Heute, 15.08.2023 würde dies 8,58°E ergeben 10:00:00 UTC (12:00:00 mitteleuropäischer Sommerzeit) und die theoretische Ankunftszeit auf 13°E wäre der 26.08.2023.

  • I think there is a miscalculation, but the method should be OK.
    With the ancient software Gorbtrack, 13°E would be reached around noon on the 23rd.
    But sometimes, the drift is slowed down in a few steps, resulting in a bit later arrival.
