I couldn't find the two muxes 10920 H and 10911 V at 10.0E. Are they still active in your area?

  • Yes

  • Thanks for the spectrum on Eutel 10B. :3:

Strangely, on my analyzer, there is no signal at all on the two muxes. I wonder if there is such a big difference between the Eutelsat 10B spots?

Or are they local tests, which got you thinking when you compared them with the two muxes on Amazonas 6?

I scanned the satellite again and nothing showed up on my spectrum. :25:

added: I forgot to ask you, with which antenna did you get this signal?

  • 1.80m for all my KU band scans as usually

    SPOT beams I think

    check your scan and mine:

  • Thanks again, Feedsat.

I think it is clear to me now that the difference in signal is due to both the different sizes of our antennas, and also to the areas where we receive this signal.

Now another mux appears at 11441 H on your spectrum, but very weak even on the 1.80m antenna. I'm not even looking for this one.

It seems that on this Eutelsat both polarities are used on the same frequency, like the two you posted. If on others, 11375 HV, 11408 HV, and 11262 HV, the signal is at the same level on both polarities, on the latter, it is different in strength. On the Horizontal pole, it is stronger than on the Vertical.

Signal differences between different areas of the continent seem to have dissatisfied many users when Eutelsat became operational, starting with Eumetsat customers and others.

In fact, the message is clear: Gone are the days when we could receive satellites even with relatively small antennas(especially true for me). The moral for enthusiasts was and still is, as it was in the past, use only large antennas, buy the latest signal processing devices, and update apps.

    Best regards :74:

  • 11003 H 9522

  • Here are my results on 2,2m in range 10.70 to 11.50 GHz from my place. Just compared to Feedsat scans above in this toppic... :72:

    10822 V 30112 - ecncrypted VPID 2048/APID 8001 - probably "my" beam :26. , according above scan from Feedsat

10827 H 36811 - lockable here too on low signal -> Feedsat spot beam :26.

10911 V 63900 - probably "my" beam, according above scan from Feedsat

10920 H 63900 - lockable here too on low signal -> Feedsat spot beam

11002 H 9524 - lockable here too on low signal -> Feedsat spot beam

    11381 H 36800 - ecncrypted VPID 2048/APID 8001 - strong signal...probably "my" beam...?

    11382 V 36821 - low signal ... not really "my" beam

    11439 H 63900 - strong signal...probably "my" beam...?

    11440 V 63900 - low signal ... not really "my" beam

PS: posted GS frequencies in scans from satesco are not visible in our (Feedsat and mine) spectrum:

    11408 H and V with SR 25540

So there is another spot beam for satesco... :26.

If 11381 H is a spot for Western Europe, then 11376 H is a spot for Eastern Europe

    broadcasts in several modes (modcode?)

an encoded CNN is available in one of them

likewise 11382 V for Western Europe and 11377 V for Eastern Europe (but weaker than 11376 H)

due to the weaker signal, the third mode is difficult to pick up

  • Was ich im unteren Bereich empfangen kann, vielleicht sind ein paar Spotbeams drin, ich habe null Ahnung, woher der 11045 H kommt.

here's what I get in the low band, maybe a few spot-beams, I have no idea where the 11045 H comes from.

Radio Maria ist weit weit weg von einer Empfangschance und ob der Empfang bei ZAP Viva Internacional klappen würde?.
Ein dB Wert ist da, aber alle anderen Parameter wie SR und FEC werden ja nicht eingelesen.
