  • Thanks, qwer, I had another look on Ku and can just see the a BPSK that flips in the demod creating an X.

I also noticed that there's a carrier on 10951MHz which appears to be circular polarised.

  • Just a try here on 2.2m... on 10951 and 10953...

  • Wenn man sich Wikipedia ansieht, könnte das K-band erfolgversprechender sein, als das Ku-Band.

If you look at Wikipedia, the K-band might be more promising than the Ku-band.

If you don't specify the antenna size and the approximate location, posting is useless if it's about signal acquisition.

A car belongs on the road, not in the settings.

    Dish & Location

    N 48.602 E 15.553

    240 Irte (Ku/C)

180 Laminas stationary (KaEABCD/Ku/C/X), mobil (all)

    120 Laminas (Ku)

    100 (Ku, 7°E/1.9°E/1°W), 85 (Ku, 13°E/16°E/19.2°E)

  • I found this pre-launch document:

    Heinrich Hertz Mission - eoPortal

It looks like you are correct femi

    • 7 channels with 36 MHz bandwidth each at Ka-band (= appr. 7 x 50 Mbit/s = 350 Mbit/s)

    • 1 channel with up to 450 MHz bandwidth at Ka-band (= appr. 1 x 625 Mbit/s)

    • [1 ISL (Intersatellite Link) with 36 MHz bandwidth at Ka-band (= appr. 1 x 50 Mbit/s)]

    • 1 channel with 45 MHz bandwidth at Ku-band (= appr. 1 x 62 Mbit/s)

The coverage map shows a different orbital position but 2 of the beams are very tight on north and south Germany. There probably will not be anything de-codable.

  • s-band December 4, 2024 at 11:09 AM

Changed the title of the thread from “0.5°E H2Sat (Heinrich Hertz)” to “13.25°E H2Sat (Heinrich Hertz)”.
  • Thanks to hvdh for the information, H2Sat has moved to 13.25E. I can't see anything from it on Ku now as it is too close to 13E and its beacon frequency has a DVB signal on it.
