04.1°W Amos-3 <Ukraine> (OLD POSITION Feeds>Ku)

    Ich habe gerade mal mit 125 cm und dem D15 einen Blindscan auf dieser Satposition gemacht.
    Es tauchten zwei Feeds auf, die ich auf Grund des sehr schwachen Signals auf dem ME Beam vermute
    Empfang des Testbildes ist mit Aussetzern möglich.


    I just did a blind scan at this satellite position with 125 cm and the D15.
    Two feeds appeared, which I suspect were due to the very weak signal on the ME beam.
    Reception of the testpicture is possible with dropouts.

    Not sure about this beam, I have here about 4-5db , other "UA" or EU TPs have 17-18db.

    You can't compare using this comparison. tp7 from Amos3 can work only in Ukranian beam. Uplink to this tp on earth located near Gaza region and retransmit to Europe region. Uplink is very weak, this tp works in linear mode. That means "how stronger satellite see uplink signal - retransmit to Earth with exactly same strength".

    No, it´s impossible to "see" the signal 11674 V from Amos-7, because the "Transalpine" beam from Eutelsat 5 West B is too strong at my QTH on 11679 V... :3:
