  • Just my midday scan.

This was earlier the best time for SSA beam - but only 12245 H 27500 3/4 DVB-S is lockable from that beam. I can say, that this beam is completely de-creased here in south-west Germany.

Signal for russia beam increased at my place:
About 1.0dB under link margin on 11727 L 27500 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK on linear scan, using 2.2m. I can get probably a lock on this one, using a waveguide next...

  • Today I did a few tests with a waveguide for circular signals on the 2.2m antenna - see attachments.

Three locks from the Sub Sahara beam are possible in the scan:
    12015 H, 12053 H and 12245 H
Two of these could also be read in manually:
    12053 H and 12245 H - see attachments
    Conclusion:
Without the waveguide, the 12245 H comes in at least 2.0dB stronger, but the other two TP 12015 H and 12053 H are only possible with the waveguide.

Unfortunately, I am far from a lock everywhere here at the Russia beam, although all transponder frequencies are visible in the scan.
PS: My linear scans previously shown here in the Toppic show incorrect dB for the ‘11727 L’, which can now be verified with the use of the waveguide.

    ========
