Hi Feedsat,
Congratulations. I hope that soon we will see the results as expected, and the price, which, I believe, that was great. In a word,to be more efficient than the other that you have.I hope to respond well to weak signals even noise figure is 0.9 dB.How much you paid for it?
Regards
This lnb is not universal ( " Ku LNB Universal controlled by modem tone") only 22khz for upper band, orthomode or polarotor for H/V.
This is a first price PLL LNB by skyware.
The noise figure (0.2 dB) is probably not true according tomy first tests today.
But professional don't need and want LNB for their noise figure but for the stability.
Tomorrow I will share some scans reports.
Technical details:
skyware
PS: satesco: this lnb is only 99€ , I received this one from a french satellite shop for testing and do some reports.
After a couple of test , I can share my experience with this LNB, a first price for Vsat or pro.
With the Channel Master:
H and V, 2 solutions, polarotor or Orthomode (2 LNBs of course)
Orthomode (a bit old)
Polarotor (old too)
With the Laminas feed:

Conclusion:
For end-user use, this type of solution is not appropriate.
We need a good MER and C/N
Professionals in broadcast primarily need accuracy over a TP, is what gives the stability of the LNB.
for them, + - 1MHz is not acceptable.
so this PLL LNB for a cheap price is relatively satisfactory for the purpose attributed to it but poorly suited for a particular end-user in my opinion.
apart from DXers... ;)
Next Match (not yet)
Octagon PLL Vs Skyware PLL KU on the Laminas 180.
PS: all scans were done simultaneously with exactly the same weather conditions and same antenna settings.
