VMA Video Analyser

Hello,

I am getting into the art of video analysis. I already have some suitable devices and software, but was trying to get a bit more hands-on on this subject.

Right now my software looks like this:

It is still in its initial state and refresh rate is much too slow.

But I would like to know if this is interesting to someone or do you just like the reception part of it?

I started to enjoy analyzing the quality of the video production...

Here is an example of a professional software (Dektec SdEye using a Dektec DTA-2154 PCI-e card with 4x ASI/SI input/output):

If you look at the measurements, you notice that the image is quite overexposed and oversaturated. Also, there is clearly something wrong with the audio...

Hope some might find this interesting and complimentary for Sat-DX.

Just extract the archive anywhere and start "VMA Video Analyser.exe". It will run in DEMO mode.

Open SETTINGS and send me the MachineGUID for a free license.

The software has matured into a full featured Video Analyser, that matches and even surpasses professional Waveform Monitors.

It is now possible to capture a screen (from a secondary monitor). This allows to do easily analyze video from virtually any source.

The layout and its panels is fully configurable.
