• Hello VMA
    I am facing a problem with this frequency on the Eutelsat 10 East satellite 10732. The signal is present on other programs and does not appear here. What is wrong?

  • Sowohl H als auch L liefern die höhere Spannung von ca 18V, bei R und V sind es etwa 14V, also HL/VR.

    Sinn ergäbe sich nur, wenn damit auch die Polarisation gesteuert wird. Allerdings sind die zirkularen Signale selten um einen konstanten Wert (z.B 45°) verschoben, wodurch man dies ohnehin mechanisch oder elektrisch lösen muss, jedenfalls nicht mit der Schaltspannung.

    Einige LNBs, die nicht aus dem Baumarkt stammen benötigen sogar sogar 21V, die man mit 18V speisen muss, bedingt aber einen etwas höheren Strom.

  • Für uns ist es einfach praktischer, die tatsächlichen Frequenzdaten zu haben und zu schreiben(das ist im C-Band der Fall, wo einige Satelliten linear und andere zirkular arbeiten). Wir müssen zwei verschiedene LNBs verwenden, wenn man es nicht weiss findet man kein frequenz

    Die Lösung wäre vermutlich aufwendig, denn für jeden Satelliten müsste man hinterlegen, ob das Signal linear oder zirkular ankommt.

    In den Settings läßt sich das entsprechende LNB ja über Diseqc und Tuner auswählen. Vielleicht tut es ein Button, der dann statt H/V eben L/R ausgibt, was natürlich ein wenig Hintergrundwissen der User voraussetzt

  • Das Problem besteht nicht darin, die Frequenzen zu finden (das funktioniert sehr gut), sondern direkt danach, wenn man das Streaming aufruft, tritt das Problem auf. Es werden nicht alle Daten übernommen, die während des Blindscans gefunden wurden (keine Polarisation und SR), sodass es natürlich nicht mehr funktioniert.

  • You guys are speaking about two different things:

    L/T might be linked wrong to H/V. femi can you please test and confirm?

    10732: After blind scan, is there a lock or not? Is the lock lost after streaming? Please test and explain exactly what you are doing.

  • Ich wollte mit meiner Bemerkung die Sache zwischen V/H und R/L nicht komplizieren.

    Das ändert nichts an der Suche. Wenn man in den Suchdaten bei den Polarisationen V und H bleibt, obwohl der LNB zirkular ist , werden alle Frequenzen gefunden , nur am Ende sind die Angaben zu den Polarisationen nicht korrekt.

    Es ging nur darum, diese Daten nicht manuell ändern zu müssen , wenn man die gefundenen Frequenzen angeben möchte .

    Derzeit bringen die Eingabe von L und R bei der Suche einen Fehler, aber wenn man das weiß, ist es auch nicht weiter schlimm , man nutz es nicht

  • Das muss korrigiert werden.

    Die Software ist sehr gewachsen, in Komplexität und Anzahl von Codezeilen.

    Ich glaube ich muss eine Bug-Liste einführen um die Fehler systematisch abzuarbeiten.

  • Das R Spektrum scheint mit dem V ident zu sein, wäre richtig, dann stimmt die Ausgabe nicht.

  • streamreader.dll defines this:

    Unless I made a mistake, VMA Stream Reader follows exactly these polarities:

    • None = -1
    • H = 0
    • V = 1
    • L = 2
    • R = 3

    If this does not work as expected, I assume the culprit is streamreader.dll.

    I don't have any Circular LNB (perhaps I have one tucked away in the storage, but I won't look for it) and I wouldn't know how to set one up if I had one.

    I understand what a circular transmission is, but I never tested it.

  • A test with the VMA app on a C-band satellite (57.0E) with Circular polarization.

  • that is not possible, by design

    the reason:

    each scan result (per polarity) can be saved and later loaded back

    if you then double click any item on the list (main window), it will blindscan the transponder

    this is a quick alternative to having transponder/channel-lists like you do have in normal tv applications

    as a result, each polarity is handled individually

    all ok, but if you look the spectrums #910 you can see the log in th 2nd scan write "set polarisation to vertikal", thats wrong with circular left. The other's are ok

    Mit Autoscan kann man beide Polarisationen nacheinander bekommen.

    With autoscan, both polarizations can be obtained one after the other.

  • Thanks, stephan94, for trying. But that's not what I want. What I want is what I said before: the muxes found and spectra reported on a single list and one graph.

    VMA knows this, but since he designed his app based on EBS, he will be able to find a solution so that, at least during blind scanning, both polarities are scanned and the result is listed with both polarities.

    But he also tells us that it's not possible. Only he can know what is and isn't feasible with his app.

    It's normal not to ask him for the impossible. He has turned the VMA app into a kind of "Christmas tree" full of gifts for us, who never thought that a DVB application would open up so many possibilities.:3:

  • If you use AUTOSCAN SATELLITES and only select one satellite, you will get what you want


    But as you can see, the list is reset when vertical polarity is processed:

    This is how I designed the software and I am not going to change this - sorry!

    As stephan94 said, you can use Auto Scan Report to see all in one page. Perhaps not exactly what you want, but close...

  • With the VMA DVB-NIP app on 12441 V, you can do a lot with a single player. The app supports ts files, but is it possible to play them?
    The app attempts to do this, but the large volume of files cannot be processed instantly by the player.
