i have 26meter RG6 cable triset 113-pe its not long distance. Invacom adf-120 have a little weaker gain comparing to inverto black ultra.

If weather allows i will put other LNB.

and prof 7301 shows good spectrum, around -50dBm, so its not lnb or cable.

I dont have any switches, diseqC etc.. just Invacom connected directly to tbs card.

i think that AGC or VLNA is broken in this card :(

need to remove that metal shield and see what is there.

Finally i put back Prof7301 to my PC.

now i can do better comparison this two cards. I used Crazyscan and IQ Monitor. connected using same setup (cable and lnb)

First prof7301 crazy scan. Default bbgain nothing changed.

Now im pull out tbs from my pc and its time to unsolder this metal shielding and see what is inside. Im still wondering why TBS have such low dBm value. Almost hit the ground.

Hello strannik.

Today i unsoldered metal shield from my tbs card. I also didnt have two capacitors C105 and C106.

There are gold traces to prove better shielding.

Still wondering why V13 is missing C58 capacitor

can i stick to STV6120 any little heatsink? using 3m thermal conductive tape?

then i will do better and bigger shielding from copper

Hi everyone, what is the minimum and maximum S/N value for the 6983 card?

I haven't found this value elsewhere.
