I don't know what is the current footprint of this satellite but it's very hard to lock from my QTH... (my 1st test)

    • Official Post

Oh, boy, my signal is very bad if we have the same footprint !

The troubles are caused by Yamal 402, not Azerspace for my case.

I will test it with the 2nd 3.10m dish to confirm.

    thanks hvdh.

I confirm, bad signal with both 3.10m antenna, maybe the beam is not exactly as it's show,
usually I have nearly 4 dB less than Qwer (3m-> 5m) but for this position it's worse.

Feedsat, you meant Yamal 202 49°E, but that satellite is weaker in FR than in DE.
    http://gascom.ru/en/infrastructure/space/yamal_202/

Anyway, it's bad to be squeezed between two neighbours, there is no escape by moving away from one a little!

I have a good recetption on Yamal 402 and Azerspace but when I look at the analyzer and fine tune adjust the azimuth for 47.5°E , I can't get more dB than this and I confirm Yamal is close to be locked when I'm on 47.5°E.
