Unknown C-Band Satellites

    • Offizieller Beitrag

no (known) DVB modulation and no special constellation

    hvdh ?

edit: this is not TDRS3: this morning signal has not changed (9° incl, 5° yesterday evening) , this is not a inclined orbit satellite
Brasilsat, star one ,, AMC, which of them should have a TP with a PIRE on Europe ?
    Or interference ?
I have no wimax in my area, nothing, no TX tower.
AMC 3 should be possible with Vertical TP, even if I'm out of footprint..

I hope someone else can check and confirm the correct position.

The dish is at the maximum west position in KU (60°W in this configuration, the Cband LNB is of prime about +/-7°, 65°W, is not impossible...)

    Thanks Feedsat!

I tried to get this peak in spectrum, but not found it yesterday.

I will have a look of course right now again.

    :72:

Edit: Sorry no help from my side and no peaks in spectrum found today, but it´s posssible that neighbours tree could disturb all signals beyond 58.0°W on my C-Band dish... :79:

Yes I can confirm this (16.0°W, incl.).

PS: My scan is in cirkular right now. Elevation is low at this time.

    Thank you Qwer for confirming.
I was also in circular during this Scan.

Which bird it is ? hvdh ?

    • Offizieller Beitrag

Looks like Russian relay satellite Luch-5B @ 16.2°W not only has S and Ku band, but also a C-band beacon?

Inclination 2.3°, crossing the belt tomorrow 06:27 and 18:25.
