Today it's my lucky day with 92.2E Chinasat.
12180 H/L 28800 DVB-S2 QPSK its turned on again but empty :(
One typical DVB is here, rest is using ABS.
null packets only.

satesco spectrum scan for Chinasat 9 here. Good visible. But nothing to lock. RS6000 also don't lock anything.

I also try to receive Chiansat 9B at 101E. But even no any signs.

A long time ago, TBS produced a card only for the reception of the ABS-S standard.

I also had a photo and a type, but it is irretrievably lost in a HDD crash.

I got 11696 H,4500,8/9, and others, in 2018 at 97.9E(#1). Now I don't see anything on the analyzer.

I think at a favorable time you may find muxes in this position too.

I forgot that our colleagues pawelwa and Tomek22 caught something at 92.2E in 2015(the first post on this topic). It is also encouraging that they found and locked a transponder,12800 L. What may encourage us to keep trying this satellite's reception is that they only used (I guess) a tbs card that does not know the ABS-S system.

But maybe Pawelwa can still surprise us on Chinasat 9, as he has often done. It is even more deserving that the reception on 92.2E was made from the center of Poland, if I am not mistaken about the location. A real dxer, proved many times on this forum.

So the card for ABS-S from TBS was TBS8930.

In China, even a 25 cm antenna is sufficient for reception thanks to ABS-S.

At that time from Chinasat9 works one tp in DVBS2. This tp was switched off long time ago, now only all tp in ABS-S

very pity that 12180 L doesn't transmit in dvb-s anymore

An excellent result. If you got it with the 1.80m antenna, it seems to urge me to try again with my 1.50m antenna. Who knows, I can achieve it concretely this time and not as I daydream.
