    Dankt IQMonitor Pro

habe ich ( trotz meine "kleine" 1,80m Antenne)

vier nahliegende Transponder mit Radio Maria

direkt mit dem HR Spectrum gelockt

    Thanks to IQMonitor Pro

I have (despite my "small" 1.80m antenna) four nearby

transponders with Radio Maria locked directly with the HR Spectrum.

Heute waren alle Radios möglich .

Ich bin aber schon ein bisschen zu klein

    alles ist ziemlich grenzwertig

    Today all radios were possible.

But I am already a bit too small

    everything is quite borderline

Just my manual scan - getting 9 SCPC for Radio Maria services.

Just my manual scan - getting 9 SCPC for Radio Maria services.

Still all there - but can´t get manual lock on 3791.97 at this time.

  • I first tried to check if it is possible to lock Radio Maria transponders on SES-4, at 22.0W, with 1.50m antennae. I now find that the signal is quite strong even at my dish size. I thought the signal on these was only for large antennas.

I've been locking the signal with Crazyscan, EBSpro, and IQmonitor. With EBSpro the signal is locked the easiest. The best time to receive it is during the day in my area.

    Congratulations on a great result.:73:

8 transponders visible on Crazyscan spectrum

11 transponders are visible on the spectrum of IQmonitor, and there are 13 of them in the resulting table. It is clearly seen that the penultimate transponder is blocked 3 times.

For two transponders with no FEC defined, I would ask for FeedReports for constellation analysis.

But 9 transponders are blocked absolutely confidently, and with an SNR greater than that of Crazyscan.

In addition to your statement: "With EBSpro, the signal is blocked the easiest way" I would very much like to see the spectrum and the summary table of transponders.

Thank you in advance for these materials.

    Good luck and health! :70:

    Sehr gute Ergebnis .:70:

    Hier meinen Resultat

    Very good result .:70:

In my case, just with 29° temperature, I can't get all transponders with a 1,80m.

I have tried with EBSPro 18003 with step 250kHz ( smaller step there is not )

    and with IQMonitorPro 1020.

    Here is my result

    Очень хороший результат.:70:

В моем случае, при температуре 29°, я не могу поймать все транспондеры с 1,80 м.

    Я пробовал с EBSPro 18003 с шагом 250 кГц (меньшего шага нет).

    и с IQMonitorPro 1020.

    Вот мой результат

  • I failed to lock all trps on the table with EBSpro. Instead, the spectrum found and locked nine trps, two almost overlapping. Indeed, the signal fluctuates and decreases in the afternoon, which may explain finding the last two? I need to look for these transponders at the peak of the signal. Probably in the morning.

With a larger antenna, the results would be more conclusive. Importantly, it is possible to find and lock these low symbol rates even with a small antenna, which I didn't think was possible.

On closer inspection, there are indeed 9 trps, each with its audio PID, from 768 to 784, and not dual track(?).

Although IQmonitor found 13 trps in the manual search, only 9 active transponders(Radio Maria) were reported by Onacila(:3:) on FlySat, excluding the one at 3867 R,256,1/2.

Thanks for your hard work :74:

After analyzing the constellations and FeedReports from two "undefined" transponders, I can conclude that these are not fake transponders, their FEC = 1/2 was correctly determined during prediction, but high FER and a low estimate of the reliability of the prediction did not allow the program to make this value into the result, and replace it with an undefined sign (?).

Thus, with the help of IQmonitor Pro, you actually registered 11 signals, of which 9 were blocked.

The EBS program registered only 4 transponders, and the spectrum is simply shocking :45: - apparently, the signal is too weak for this program.

In what I agree with you about this program - it gives a very good analysis of locked transponders. CrazyScan and IQmonitor Pro require the connection of external parser programs for analysis.

    Good luck! :70:

  • Hi, all.:3:

Yesterday I rescanned 22W, low SR. Nothing has changed. There are 9 TPs around 3970MHz and one separate at 3866.7MHz.:25:

I apologize for the incorrect description of the satellite.:77:

    ...

When an enthusiast gets bored, he has to stop cultivating his passion. And I understand why you speak of "boredom" because you are always alone when you reach the summit. In this situation, boredom is not the problem but the sadness of the one who remains alone in search of other goals to reach. In a well-known expression, it is the loneliness of the long-distance runner.

Too bad the big antennae people don't join you, except superdish66.
