Hi everyone. I had to replace my old IBU single LNB with a twin one. First tried Inverto Ultra PLL — signal on horizontal polarization was almost the same, but on vertical was about 0.5–0.8 dB lower. Then I ordered the well-known Invacom TWH-031 from German Amazon (sold and shipped by Amazon, so probably not fake, I hope😄). I expected (for some reason) similar or even better performance than IBU, but was very disappointed — snr was around 1dB lower on both polarizations.
What could cause such a difference? f/D mismatch, something else, or is Invacom just that much worse than IBU?

On which satellite did this new transponder appear?

a little more precision about your equipment and your satellite reception location would be welcome.

Without that, the ads are of little interest.
No ads, I just wanted to show how it looks on dynamic spectrum 🙂
Location - Ukraine, 1.8m prime focus Mabo dish
