Interesting that the Pluto+ is used by the amateur.
s-band many thanks. The Gilat units look similar to Viasat units. Due to the popularity of Starlink many Viasat units are being discarded here. I will see if I can get the LNB in a Viasat unit working.
I'm not sure what Ka signals exist here, I think only Viasat, Inmarsat (?), and Military.
JRC LNB spotted on eBay
This is for 19.2-20.2GHz...for inmarsat Global Xpress!
Question: Does anyone here have experience with this model of LNB?
s-band many thanks! That is very helpful.
If I ever find an affordable way to register for ITU access I will share with you.
I did have some success with contacting the ITU via social media once. They kindly shared some frequency data. It would be much better to obtain ongoing database access though.
Yes, with Asiasat 9 I guess they may have never utilised the Ka transponders.
Hi S-band, did you obtain access to the ITU system?
There are a number of satellites that I would like to better understand. One is Asiasat 9. Apparently it has Ka band beams....I havent found any information on them being used though.
