An unusual collection of burst and narrow data signals. I assume I've got the correct satellite.

Not such a good signal but frequency is locked now.

Needs confirmation that this is ComsatBw-2 - probably not, more likely SICRAL 1B <Edited 30/7/19)>

I have always wanted to take this picture, but never had time to do it. But finally I got it!
To have a proper LNB is only half way to meet the goal.
Interesting, sato. How are the Patriot dishes?
Here is my Ka band A, made from parts of 2 damaged LNBs. This has been used for my latest posts. I have another Patriot feed but need a WR42 interface, do you know where I can get an OMT like the ones you show or the same as the one in my pictures? -
Quite new (last month?) 18411 H 8378ks/s 4/5 32APSK
Does not lock here with 1.2m -
Not exactly strong and getting the pictures may be harder. About 2-3dB SNR in 1Hz on a 1.2m dish. ~2.2dB NF system, AD Pluto SDR, 521ks/s, 524k FFT.
Best DX so far at 468 million km

Tonight's plot. I need to fix the LO drift, it is greater than the doppler change. The frequency is reducing which would be seen as increasing frequency on my plot as the LO is on the high side.

This evening's signal. The feed was improved slightly (2.2dB sky/ground NF now) but the changed vertical scale makes it look better. 100Hz/div horizontal scale.

https://stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov/1st deep space capture on X band, 8443.555MHz (approximately). Using a plumbing component feed with the 7.5GHz LNA on a 1.2m dish. It's not a great system with a sky/ground noise figure of ~3dB. About 10dB S/N in 0.5Hz. 9125MHz LO inverts the spectrum so the doppler change is downwards.
