VMA My presumption is, the driver does not initialise correct some registers on stid135.
It would be useful, to make a comparison, read registers before and after scanning, in both win and linux.

Unfortunately for us, tbs guys was left in the dark by ST Micro support regarding drivers for stid135. Now stid135 is obsolete.
For linux users, deeptho found right solution.
I hope, one day demodulayion will take place in software as is in sdr today.
Maybe, someone have SDK/PDK for stid135, this will help in development of stid135 based cards.
Hi Vitor.
Due to lack if time, i could not test your software. May i ask you if could add a function to export transponders found, to a list compatibile with Transedit, AltDvb ?
Thank you.
P.S. If this is already implemented, forget about. :)
Hi @all.
I'm looking to buy, at decent price from EU.
1x DD Cine S2 V7AAlso, if you have a defective card with st demod, don't throw in recycle bin, send it to me, (ofcourse will pay shipping
).
PM contact.
Thank You.
UP.
Hi VMA
Only DVB-S.
Do not count on ST.

QuoteST went out of business with the set-top box chips a few years ago, the STiD135 is one of the last remnants.
Regarding price, TBS products are expensive, because they do not have concurrence on this segment. Their great success is based on CrazyCat and deeptho work and a few other people.
STiD135 blind scan on Windows, is unresolved afte those years.
Maybe if we could go together funding, we could have a free source usb dvb receiver.
Some other project exists also.
Hello.
I use Sefram 7806
Nice.
But, with smw, CrazyScan found some more transponders.
Thx for tests.

Also, F6DZP, admin of VivaDATV, has successfully tested this tuner from 600mhz to 2600mhz, info.
Hi strannik
Thank you for answer and interrest.
From what i read, @ N6BY, did not make public his software, only just some info about how he succedded. Maybe, asking him could release the application.
Regarding streamreader sources, they are old, but, could be useful.
I have archived what i have/found over the net, but, if someone, have another info, please, post here. (Ak0 is welcome).
i strannik
Thank for reply.
Sources for old streamreader from DVinGena , i have found on the internet.
And, @N6BY user , in this thread: STV6111 /6120 Register access in Windows gained access, under windows, to read/write registers on TBS and DD cards.
Maybe , someone will use those info in order to create a new streamreader.
hi and thanks for info.
if, by chance, you could, do you want to create a new streamreader.dll, with possibility to read / write registers from app ?
Hi,
