10.25°E Echostar 21

  • 1 hour LHCP spectrum of Echostar 21at 10,25°E

    LO is 3650 MHz, so center frequency is 2195 MHz.

    The signal at 1434 is interference of strong local umts/lte carrier.

    Would be nice if someone could confirm.

    Hi Andre, have you also considered EchoStar 21, inclined at 10.25°E ?

    Because that satellite actually is known to have the 2170...2200 MHz mobile band.

    Probably our member s-band will know more!

    I've never looked below 2200 as there is local cellular and the filters cut of at that frequency. Next time I have S on the dish, I'll check.

    Here' a waterfall of the transponder. It was at 18Ms/s but the Pluto can not run at that rate continuously so the plot was recorded in bursts. The FFT was 132k.
