Things have changed at the 74°E location and I need your help!
It seems both Insat-3C (C-band) and Insat-4CR (Ku-band 11.45...11.7 GHz) have left 74.0°E, drifting East and West respectively. We have no Insat-3C topic, the C-band reports here are in Gsat-7 topics which I think is correct (AOL data transponders, also from Gsat-7 in Ku-band 10.95...11.2 GHz). Gsat-7 is primarily for the Indian Navy.
Gsat-18 was launched on 5 October from Kourou, and is meant to replace both Insat-3C and Insat-4CR (3.7...4.2, 4.5...4.8 and 11.45...11.7 GHz)
Gsat-18 arrived at 74.0°E on 21 October, while Insat-4CR must have left about 27 December. There must have been a smooth transfer from Insat-4CR to Gsat-18 somewhere inbetween, the question is: when exactly, anyone noticed a change?
P.S.: Victers site mentions Gsat-18: http://victers.itschool.gov.in/

After leaving 74.0°E, Insat-4CR has been drifting West 0.7°/day.
No TLE updates for a few days, means there is a chance she stopped at 48°E, to reserve a future Insat slot... -
Finally a new TLE appeared, indeed Insat-4CR has stopped at about 47.9°E.
