a signal from Astra 2B @ 31.4°E
31.4°E (incl.) Astra 2B (OLD POSITION Data>Ku)

Sorry but that peak can't be Astra 2B or 5B, both have no low band transponders.
-
OK hvdh, but which bird if not Astra ?
-
I don't know, let's hope for other reports of this peak!
-
Maybe this can be peak from Astra 2B
11708 V
-
The peak around 11837 H surely comes from the inclined Astra 2B, but I can't get any dB reading from it.
-
I don't think about Astra 2B, I have alreay reported this frequency in January 2015 http://satellitescommunity.de/thread.php?threadid=43&sid=
(the SR is wrong, it is different at each scan but DVB modulation for sure)
-
Oh, I'll observe for more hours then!
2B crossed the belt half an hour ago, it should go downwards from now on, though 1.1° inclination is not much. -
Now 2B is 0.9° above the belt, 11837 H has pretty much collapsed as you can see.
-
11837 H is definitely from inclinated satellite. :142:
But nothing found on this TP.
Good find hvdh.
-
if this is the Astra 2B
-
Better signal today but still getting a fake SR
-
Astra 2B (inclination 1.6°) left 31.36°E a few days ago.
According CoB, will arrive at 39.0°E on 17 August. -
Astra 2B spent exactly 3 months at 39.0°E, until mid-Nov 2016.
Since 23 Dec 2016 at 19.4°E, probably as in-orbit spare.
