You are right, but as you know, the result also depends on the dvb card used. I used 6909x for these transponders because only with it could I lock them.
In fact, the ambivalent nature, so to speak, of many of the encapsulated transponders is increasingly found in satellite transmissions. From our perspective, for those of us who use dvb cards for reception, the exact transmission parameters are determined by the demodulator of the card in question and the version of the StreamReaderEX BDA file.
crazycat is probably trying to find a compromise between DVB-S2 and S2X extension demodulators, and depending on the type of card /demod, app Crazyscan chooses the stream type.
To simplify things, for the chip stid135(6903x/6909x), all streams found are Encapsulated(Data), which they all are.
Sorry for my long answer; it may be known by those who work longer with CrazyCat's app and library.
At least, that's my understanding as a dvb card user and not an app developer.
