You can be proud !
Congratulations Qwer :)
Oh,Qwer, when I see your antennas,my passion for exotic receptions seem Lilliputian :(
I hope this forum to get as much known on how big is your antenna :)
Congratulations :)
Just for Ka tests, KATHREIN CAS 012.
Nice job Qwer
With KA Band, the size is not always the most important, the quality of the reflector is also an important factor.
In your case, it's better than going on your roof to replace your lnbs from KU to Ka on your first Kathrein.
Good dedicated antenna.
Hallo Qwer

qwer.
KATHREIN CAS 120 fixed for Ka Band, pointed here on 07.0°E.

One more pic. Pointed now on 19.2°E most of the time.
Maybe a BIG Christmas Present arrives with delay the next days... I hope so.
Merry Christmas to all of you!
Edgar.
Today I wanted to start first Ku tests on this (not motorized yet and well known) 3,7m Fuba dish, but weather was extremly bad to do this and even the falliing big raindrops not cleaned the dish properly...
I don´t know (exactly) how far clear view will be possible to the east or west side? Let´s see soon...
I´m of course very interested to scan some Ku satellites with this dishsize, like 7.0°W Nilesat 201 or 35.9°E Eutelsat 36B.
A good DX year is about to begin 2016.
Happy DX greetings to all!
Well done Qwer, nice toy.
Happy DX for 2016 !

Very interesting mate
Today I installed my Kathrein CAS 120 "double stack".
Left one for 7.0°E and right one for 16.0°E in Ka band only. In the backgroud Kathrein CAS 23 for Ku band.
PS: Soon my balcony Kathrein CAS 012 "test" dish will move to this place too...
Nice stuff !
Beautifully it looks
What can I say, dear Qwer, but that envy you kindly. With so many antennas that you have, one more special than another, makes me to dream
Thanks guys, I will enjoy the dishes!
Excellent qwer.
Thanks for sharing.
