I think, that Ukrainian programmer and satellite enthusiast "strannik" who is behind the SatSpectr and IQ monitor software deserves a bit more publicity and our thanks by visiting his sites where our versions of both programs are uploaded especially iof he does it completely free of charge and spends his precious time to make it better and better.

Guys, this is a satellite community, not a CIA bureau where everything must be kept in secret and passed from one to another by PM only...

qwer you`re a funny guy and I like it even I`m 100% sure that you, Stephan 94 and also others got the point of my reference to the CIA.
I just wanted to point out the fact that there`s no need to upload files here and there especially if after a while link is dead anyway. Then, PMs are great for a personal correspondence so I couldn`t see the reason why stephan94 wanted to PM satesco to inform him where to download the latest version....

If we all start doing this here, then there`s no point of being here as a member.... But we all come here and love it. Believe me or not I have some ideas how to improve this forum, but some would not like it first...

Anyway, no matter it looks Stephan94 should be proud of himself as he has been actively involved in strannik`s first project and also participates a lot in improving I/Q monitor.
This was my second reason why I provided links. I think that stepahn94 together with Peon and a few others are doing a great job, so from me thumb up!
But other DXers may have good ideas, too. So why not share a few words whether this or that could be implemented in the next version? We all do things differently and prefer different options and that can be considered by the programmer. On the end of the day we will all benefit from those improvements/solved bugs and this is what matters the most. Don`t you think guys?

Also I think that strannik will be pleased to see growing number of downloads, maybe a few new users and this will give him satisfaction in this project.

On the other hand this thread should be used for further conversation no matter where the download link is.Discussing and sharing here is also important. And then, not everybody understand Russian, is willing to use google translation or participate because of lack of time or whatever else. So this thread is important to us and I hope new replies will kept coming.

ich habe diese Seite durch Zufall entdeckt und mich sofort angemeldet. Glücklicherweise konnte ich eine etwas ältere Version von IQmonitor laden und mich ein wenig damit beschäftigen.

Ein tolles Programm, ein Dank an den Entwickler!

Die meisten Links hier sind leider tot. Wo bekommt man Updates dieses Programmes direkt?

I think IQmonitor is the most interesting application for dvbs signal reception.What this finds no other similar tool can do,although the lower limit of our cards is 100/200 Msbs,as specified by the manufacturer.
Here IQmonitor shows us that our cards can find and lock the signal under 100 Ks. I do not know and I'm not sure this is possible,and if so,whether it is true or not!?!?
I ask this question not because I am doubt that they are transmissions that use the parameters that our cards can not determine.With this analyzer the things that seem impossible with the other tool so far,it produces a "miracle".And we say wonders about things we don't understand.Or I don't believe in them in this technical field even if I don't understand what is behind them,or precisely because of this.About these technical things would interesting a discussion between,say, crazycat and strannik, the creator of this tool,which,as a matter of fact,uses CrazyCat's library.That's what I'd like to find out about from a specialist.
By then I now post another low-rate symbol that IQmonitor found and locked at 44.9E on Galaxy 11,on a frequency that seems not to be on it:
10946 H,76,1/2
And because I'm not sure that this parameter is valid,I post here and not in the DX section. It would be interesting for others to try and succeed in finding this symbol rate.
